You Pierce My Soul - Persuasion by Jane Austen - Brass Cuff Bracelet

'You pierce my soul. I am half agony, half hope.' Wentworth's letter to Anne Elliot

Jane Austen's 1817 novel Persuasion which features possibly the most romantic letter ever written ! Ornate Gothic style scripted quote set upon an elegant Regency blue (similar to duck egg blue but with a slight green hue). I'm ecstatic and proud to say you can now find my literary brass cuffs at Jane Austen's House Museum in Hampshire, England.

This style cuff would look gorgeous with the matching earrings here http://www.etsy.com/listing/80707883/persuasion-by-jane-austen-i-am-half.

The brass cuff measures 1.5" tall and 5.5" round with an opening of 1.5", easily adjustable by using slight pressure once on your wrist. The brass (an alloy of zinc and copper) ages beautifully and uniquely; it will change patina over time and this is completely natural. The artwork I use is slightly translucent and the patterns you see are from the patina of the brass underneath. All protected under a sealant for extra durability but I would advise NOT to go rushing into the sea whilst wearing it or similar interactions with water.

This piece is handmade in England, United Kingdom so please allow 5-7 days before it can be shipped....things have to dry !

Arrives wrapped in non-tarnish tissue paper, gift boxed and tied with organza ribbon, completely gorgeous for gift-giving.
