Pittsburg 2013 Jane Austen Festival

A message from JASNA Pittsburgh

March 15-26, 2013, Pittsburgh is holding its 2013 Jane Austen Festival with the theme of "Cult-ivating Jane."
 
The weekend begins Friday night at the Hollywood Theater with clips of various versions of Pride & Prejudice and a panel discussion. 
 
On Saturday enjoy a full day of speakers including plenary speakers:
 
     Carol Chernega, author of A Dream House; Exploring the Literary Homes of England
 
     Carrie Bebris, author of the popular Mr. and Mrs. Darcy mystery series
 
     Kim Wilson, author of Tea with Jane Austen and In the Garden with Jane Austen
 
Regency vendors, a student paper-writing contest, discussion sessions and  instruction in English country dance rounds out an exciting day that concludes with a Regency Assembly Ball with live music.
 
Registration is now open and closes March 1, 2013 or when space is filled.
