There is an elaborate estate that movie star Grace Harrison has purchased and is now called Graceland. When Jo (our main character) drives up for the first time this is her reaction:
Bloody hell. It's like something from Jane Austen, not quite Pemberley, but pretty close, with landscaped lawns as far as you can see, and a tree-lined avenue up to the house. ... There's a lake in the distance, and a vast circular drive in front of the house. I'm half expecting to see Darcy emerging from the lake and people drifting about in muslin dresses. (pgs 163-4)This was a really cute book and I'm starting the second book in the series today! -Amelia
