It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - Austen in August

This is a meme hosted by Book Journey.

I finished The List Lover's Guide to Jane Austen by Joan Strasbaugh. I really enjoyed it and think it's a great resource to have on hand. It's really just a book of lists. I can already tell I'll be using it as a reference for writing blog posts in the future!

I'm still listening to Longbourn by Jo Baker, read by Emma Fielding.  Things are getting interesting! The occupants of Netherfield have left for London and the household's departure is having negative affects on the Bennetts and the staff of Longbourn.

I'm still reading Mansfield Park. The young people are casting and getting ready for their play production. Is anyone else bothered by the fact that Lady Bertram isn't upset that Tom is having construction done in the house?

I started reading A Darcy Christmas. This includes three novellas by three authors. I started the first story of the collection today Mr. Darcy's Christmas Carol by Carolyn Eberhart.  This novella changes the end of P&P so Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth don't get married alongside Bingley and Jane.  It's now Christmas and Mr. Darcy has had a bit to drink and is visited by the ghost of his father.  That's about as far as I got and it looks to be an interesting take on A Christmas Carol.

What are you reading?
