Friday Fun

I spent last weekend in Seattle and I went to a stop of the East Pierce County Open Studio Tour.  The stop I went to was the open studio of Author Shannon Winslow (who was showing art under her artist name).

There I got to see the canvas that she painted for the covers of her books The Darcys of Pemberley and For Myself Alone, and her upcoming sequel to The Darcys of Pemberly, Return to Longbourn.

  1. I have seen The Darcys of Pemberley painting in person too. It is stunning. Besides being a gifted novelist, Shannon is one heck of a landscape painter!

  2. Let's just be glad I remembered to take the pictures. While sitting there talking with Shannon I was staring at the AMAZING view of Mr. Rainier. (I totally forgot to take a picture of the view.)
