February 17 - Continuing our reading of Jane Austen's novels in order of publication, we will discuss Persuasion, at the Plainsboro Public Library

April 14 - Discussion of several critical articles on Persuasion.  location TBD

June 16 - Seeing - The Complete Works of Jane Austen, Abridged

August 18 - Talk on Regency Navy, Fort Mott

October 20 - Regency Music Program. Plainsboro Public Library (click link for full information)

December 15 - Our Annual holiday and Jane Austen birthday party, including games and book Pollyanna, at a member's house in Freehold.


Reading Group Dates and Books

March 17 - Master and Commander by Patrick O'Brian

May 19 - Jane Austen's Sailor Brothers by J. H. Hubback and Edith C. Hubback

September 15 - We will be discussing works of Jane Austen fanfiction.  You can read one or all three; for each book, one attendee will present a short summary/book report for the benefit of those who have chosen a different book.
