It's Monday! What Are You Reading? - The Pursuit of Mary Bennet

Last night I started reading The Pursuit of Mary Bennet: A Pride & Prejudice Novel by Pamela Mingle. I have always felt bad for Mary, I feel she gets a bump wrap. When I first started reading Jane Austen sequel books, I never liked the ones that were focused on Mary.  The past year I've noticed more books with Mary as a focus and they have all been great.

I'm only a few chapters in, but Pamela's version of Mary realizes what we all saw of her in P&P and she knows she's changed.  I think she's gaining some of Lizzie's spark and I can't wait to see how she's grown in the handful of years since the conclusion of P&P.
