Yale Center for British Art will be having 2 Exhibits this fall, might be of interest to our members.
1. Mrs. Delany and Her Circle
from September 24, 2009 to January 3, 2010
The exhibition will explore the life, world and work of
Mary Delany, nee Mary Granville (1700-1788).
2. Horace Walpole's Strawberry Hill
from October 15, 2009 to January 3, 2010

We are considering renting a bus and having a day at the museum including a guided tour of the exhibits. The cost will run around $35 per person for transportation from NYC. Lunch will be on your own. Although no firm date has been established - one possibility is Saturday October 24. If you have any interest in such a trip, please email jasnany@yahoo.com so that they can judge whether or not to proceed.
