Chawton House Library is hosting a "Murder and Mayhem at Mansfield Park" on 27th April 2010 with author Lynn Shepherd.

A hugely entertaining homage, Murder At Mansfield Park offers readers a very different view of Mansfield Park, but retains the distinct style, eloquence and subtlety of Austen’s best writing. Sandy's Chawton House Party


Sandy Lerner is the founder of the Chawton House Library, which specialized in early women's literature. A few weeks ago, she held a very special fund raising party at Chawton. Invited to the party were Elizabeth Garvie and David Rantoul, who were Elizabeth and Darcy in the 1980 Pride and Prejudice - our personal favorite.
